ICN2018 Art Competition

The ICN2018 Art Competition is now open to all ICN2018 registered participants. Here is your opportunity to showcase your art skills and be in the chance to win a prize.

The ICN2018 Art Competition is looking for entries based around behaviour i.e. Photographs or illustrations of some form of animal behaviour in the context of Neuroethology.

We are looking for artistic representations of natural behaviours in colour or black and white.

Before entering, please read the guidelines below;

  1. All entries must be high resolution digital with a minimum of 600dpi preferably in a TIFF format.
  2. The ICN2018 Art competition is open to all registered attendees of ICN2018. Art Competition staff and judges are not allowed to enter.
  3. Entrants can submit 1 entry per person.
  4. Your Art must not have placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in:
    1. any competition that has resulted in prizes worth Australian $100 or more;
    2. a "major" Art competition (to be determined subjectively by judges)
  5. Art will be anonymously judged and all decisions will be final
  6. A person can only win one prize
  7. Winners (1st, 2nd & 3rd) will be announced at the ICN2018 Congress in Brisbane.
  8. Ownership and copyright of the art will remain with the submitter.
  9. The top 20 photographs will be printed and displayed at ICN2018 in Brisbane.
  10. The submission deadline is 6 July 2018.
